2026 Jim McPhee Award Recipient
The 2026 Jim McPhee Award has been ptesented to Noah Walliss (BIG AK).
Noah has for the last few years been living overseas training and competing, progressing his Judo and achieving some very good results on the way. Some of his results include;
Gold – Canberra International 2025
Gold – Melbourne International 2025
Gold – NSW Championships 2025
Gold – Tahiti Oceania Championships 2025
Gold - Hangzhou Asian Open 2025
Silver – Gold Coast Oceania Open 2025
Silver – Lima Pan-American Open 2025
Silver – Oceania Continental Championships 2026
The award was established to help fund athletes who are not already receiving funding, and it is to be used for their Judo development - especially towards future selection for the Commonwealth and / or Olympic Games.
Noah's big goal for 2026 is to medal at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
