c1 coaching qualification
Judo New Zealand maintains a five level coaching qualification system. All
coaches in New Zealand are encouraged to gain coaching qualifications as part
of an upskilling process.
The 5 levels are
C1: Assistant Club Coach (home study with online exam)
C2: Club Coach (weekend course)
C3: Tournament Coach (weekend course)
C4: Advanced Tournament Coaching (weekend course)
C5: Elite Tournament Coaching (home study)

here to display an application form for the C1 qualification which you
can print directly and mail to the address given along with payment for the
course. You will receive confirmation of receipt of the application by email
along with your membership number and logon password. In addition you will
receive the study materials by regular mail.
Once you have received your membership number and password you will be able
to log in to the exam any time you wish (click
here) to sit the exam. You may take the exam up to 4 times in any
1 one day.
On completion of the exam you will be given the result as a percentage. 90%
is the pass mark and in the event you have passed the exam, the result will
be logged automatically in the system and you will be qualified at the C1 level.
Presentation of the certificate will be made at the next opportunity. Good
