“do or not do - there is no try”
NZL Development Team To AIS
Friday, 17 October 2014 16:31

JNZ sent a 15 strong athlete squad to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from September 27 to October 4. Our young athletes were exposed to good quality judo training, sport science testing and guest coaching tuition from Sensei Kosei Inoue.
A great week of hard intensive training with the Australian Junior and Senior Teams, Japanese male and female high school teams and the Senior Mens Japanese Team.  Our young judoka lived among other professional athletes, and really got a taste of the life of training full time. A trip our young ones will never forget.

With only 3 athletes invited from the entire team, it was an honour for Judo to be considered along with Rugby 7's captain D J Forbes and para-swimmer Sophie Pascoe.
