The IJF have anounced further changes to the contest rules to apply from 1 January, 2010. The controversial changes result in direct Hansoku-make for certain techniques applied with the hands to the opponents legs. A link to videos of examples of the application of the new rules on the IJF website is attached.

These changes will be covered in upcoming Rules Seminars (dates to be advised) and the JNZ Sports Commission will advise the extent to which these will be applied to local events and age groups.
