“do or not do - there is no try”
NZL Success At Junior Worlds

New Zealand had two representatives at this year's Junior World Championships held in Agidir, Morocco. Both fought outstandingly and gained very creditable results!

Darcina Manuel (GIS EC) had a tough first round against Hungary which went to Golden Score and to decision, which went in Darcina's favour. Unfortunately she lost to the Bulgarian bronze medallist in the next round, finishing 9th overall.

Lee Bronkhorst (MET WB) had a tough draw with Japan first round. Lee won this by Ippon, and followed up with another win in the next round against the fancied Belgian player. Lee then lost to the Ukranian to also finish 9th.

A tremendous effort and very good results in such a strong event. Congratulations to both.
